Cancellation Policy
Thank You for Booking with Baked KaLerato We’re honoured to be part of your special moments and look forward to making your celebration even sweeter. Important Information: Final Payment: The remaining balance must be paid at least 3 days before the event. Delivery & Set-Up: We arrive 2 hours before the event or reception time to set up the cake. Please ensure the correct start time is communicated to avoid any scheduling issues. Delays: If you are running late or anticipate a delay, kindly inform us in advance. As we often serve multiple clients in a day, we cannot always wait for venue setup or décor to be completed. Post-Delivery Responsibility: Once the cake is delivered and set up, Baked KaLerato is no longer responsible for its care or condition. Coordinator Contact: You may share our number with your venue or event coordinator for the day. For urgent matters, they may contact Lerato on 081 398 9981. Kindly ask them to avoid excessive calls—rest assured, we will always communicate if there’s a delay on our side. Venue Conditions: Please ensure the cake display area is well ventilated, especially in warmer weather. Poor ventilation can cause the cake to collapse. If the event is delayed, and the room is not air-conditioned or cool, the cake should be moved to a more suitable environment. Display Time Guidelines: Indoors (with proper ventilation): Up to 4 hours Outdoors (without air conditioning): Maximum 1 hour Outdoor Events: If your event is outdoors (e.g. in a marquee or tent), please notify us. In such cases, the cake will be delivered 1 hour before the reception to preserve its quality. Cake Stand: Please note that Baked KaLerato does not supply a cake stand.
