Cancellation Policy

Thank You for Booking with Baked KaLerato We are honored to be part of your special celebration and appreciate the opportunity to create something memorable for your occasion. Please take a moment to review the important information below regarding your cake delivery: Final Payment The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 2 days before the event date. Failure to make payment by the due date may result in the cancellation of your order. Delivery Details Please ensure that all delivery information provided is accurate, including: Venue name and address Event date Delivery time Contact person on the day Alternate contact number Venue access requirements, gate codes, or special instructions Baked KaLerato cannot be held responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery information. Recipient Availability A designated person must be available to receive and inspect the cake upon delivery. If no one is available at the agreed delivery time, additional waiting fees or redelivery fees may apply. Delivery Timeframes We will make every effort to deliver your cake within the agreed delivery window. However, delivery times may occasionally be affected by traffic, road conditions, accidents, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances. Should any delays occur, we will communicate with the designated contact person as soon as possible. Cake Setup & Acceptance For cakes requiring setup, our team will place and assemble the cake in the designated display area. Once the cake has been delivered, inspected, and accepted by the recipient, responsibility for the cake transfers to the client or venue. Baked KaLerato cannot be held liable for any damage, movement, mishandling, or deterioration of the cake after delivery and setup have been completed. Venue & Display Conditions The cake display area should be: Stable and level Away from direct sunlight Away from heaters, fireplaces, and hot lighting Well ventilated and preferably air-conditioned during warmer weather Excessive heat and poor ventilation can affect the structure and appearance of the cake. Display Time Guidelines To maintain the quality and stability of your cake, we recommend the following: Indoor Events (cool, well-ventilated venue): Maximum display time: 4 hours Outdoor Events (without air conditioning): Maximum display time: 1 hour Outdoor Events If your event is being held outdoors, in a marquee, tent, or any non-air-conditioned venue, pleas
